i want to add some compression to the vocal track but i cant find the compression plug in. and when i go to the thing that tells what plug-ins that i have registerd i cant find the actull thing in the program

Pro Audio 9 doesn't come with compression. That is an add-in product called Cakewalk AudioFX1. It has reverb and compression, chorus and some others.
You might be able to find it on Ebay.

If you can't find the cakewalk plug ins there are a few compatible shareware & freeware downloads you can get. Please check that they are available as free or share NOT cracked or ripped as I can't remember which is free & which is shareware or even which has the compression but try to find:
blueline2
bjflangr
asdxrl10
freeverb2
If you find any one there should be others in the same download area.
Remember to comply with requests etc re free/share.
