Cakewalk products compared

I haven’t been on the forum for a while now. I’m still using Sonar 1 so most of the information hasn’t applied. I am in the process of upgrading my software and I’m a bit confused as Cakewalk offers a lot more options now then they used to. Does anyone know where I could find a comparison between the various Cakewalk products? Everything from Music creator to producer edition. I understand that a lot of additional tools come with the various packages but how does the basic audio recording quality and the quality of the plug-ins compare with the bit rate and so forth set the same.

If you own Sonar 1, you could upgrade to 5 Studio for only $99. Might be worth checking out. Anyways, most of the products can do 24bit 192Khz audio (even Sonar Home Studio 4), and mostly the difference between all of the various products is plug-ins and instruments. The basic workflow seems to be pretty similar throughout the whole line. Do keep in mind though that Guitar Tracks is Audio only, no MIDI. Anyways, good luck.
