I'm looking for a kind of cheap recording software, and am interested in Cakewalk.
First, i see Cakewalk Home Studio 2004, which goes for $89.
Second, i see Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro, which goes for $99.
Third, i see Cakewalk Home Studio 2004 XL, which goes for $149
And last, i see Cakewalk Guitar Tracks Pro 3, which goes for $149.
I don't want to go over this amount, as i'm asking this for my b-day coming up. I can't really tell what the difference is between all these. Basically, i want a cheap but effective program. But the key is i want it do be like Cool Edit, so if you're recording a guitar track, you can record while the drums are playing. This makes it much much much easier to record becuase it's just easier than using a metronome and you get into the music a bit better. So any halp is appreciated. Thanks!
