Hi Folks,
Sorry to trouble you. I'm looking at upgrading my soundcard but am happy to stay with my Cake software prog.
Is the M Audio Delta 1010lt sound card compatible with Ckewalk Pro Audio 9.03 running under '98?
I've searched the sites but Cake isn't mentioned anywhere.
Cheers

I am running that set up except on XP. The 1010lt has been working great for me on PA9.

You ought to upgrade to XP. 98 is a 16bit OS and XP is 32 bit.

Yes, you ought to upgrade, but Windows 98 is a 32-bit OS.

Thanks for the feedback folks.
I almost had a coronary re the bits. It's an old computer 6 -7 years & and won't "take" XP - tried already.
All it does is run cake walk, windows media player & Waverepair - I've removed the rest.
Cheers

Two ways to look at this,if your computer is that old, maybe you should just stick with what you've got and save up for the inevitable,or.....
you could buy the soundcard with the thought of transfering it to your next computer, should that happen.

I'm not a big fan of the LT though.Great bang for the buck, but a little cheesy.

O S

Wouldn't it be nice if we were all rich, and could go and buy a Mac with all the works, just for recording. I'm not that rich, my computers 5 years old already.
Ah but maybe someday when one of my songs goes to the top of the charts.

fizer
