Anybody got any samples recorded with this mic. this is a real cheap kick mic so i was wondering how good is the sound quality. so if anyone has any feedback or actual samples please be kind to share.

dude...will it be really usefull?

Wicth kick will it be? DW or Fibes, or Wesbury or The Famous Tama Rockstar. (ok, rockstars are better then they were..)

find a way to test it. The only way.

For what it worth, A friend of mine bought a few month ago, CAD PMP43 kit, and he doesnt like it at all. He keep telling me that these mics are "dead" mics. Is it his room, his way to use it, his kit...dunno.

location, location, location. if i want to test it i need to fly 5000km to the nearest music store. other people´s feedback is my only way of "testing the mic".

I've owned two of these mics in the last couple of months, one that I'm using now. The first one got severely damaged when a bookcase fell over on it while it was still on a small stand (my own damned careless fault) and I replaced it.
I own several kick mics, an ATM25, an AT Pro 25 and an Audix F12 as well as the CAD. Granted these are all relatively inexpensive kick mics (I'm a poor man) but I have uses for all of them. The first CAD I had was a very raw sounding loud highly colored mic that was everything that the Beta 52 wants to be, but that little trooper died a violent death. The CAD that I got to replace it is a much warmer sounding mic similar to the ATM25
but without the very high frequency overtone. I like it, but I'm glad I have other options. The CAD KBM412 mics don't all sound alike, but for the price they are a good buy.
The one thing that was true of both of them is that they give you very deep low frequencies, they are sensitive to down to 25Hz and up to 15 kHz. That's actually too low so I have to cut back on the lows when I record. They put out an okay signal but I do find the need to cranck up the pre-amp on them. The reason I use it is because I like the very warm sound I get from it, but I do miss the other one because I still need a loud raw mic for heavier rock pieces.
If I were only going to get one kick mic this wouldn't be the one I'd choose, but I still like it a lot.
