Hello all -

I have a CAD E-100 condensor that I've been using for vocals and guitar for a while now. I'm not all that impressed with it, although it beats the SM58 I was using.

A friend who runs a small studio has suggested that I sell the E-100 on EBay and pick up a Marshall MXL V67G.

Can anyone tell me how the Marshall compares to the CAD? Since nobody carries the V67 locally anymore, there's no way to try before you buy.

Thanks.

John

I've got the Cad{dammit I paid $350.00 for it years ago} and V67..They sound different. To me the Cad sounds better on acoustic guit/percussion{hand drums ect.}..Also heard that it sounds pretty good in a kik drum.Between the two V67 is better on most vox, sometimes the Cad wins though...I would keep the Cad and get the V67 its pretty cheap right now!You can't have too many crayons... Good luck
