cables and plugs

It's cable-buying time. I need 1/4" plugs to connect sound card and mixer. Have I got this right: balanced cables with 1/4" plugs are called stereo plugs - TRS type?
 
That's it Dobro, as long as both your mixer and soundcard will accept 1/4" TRS cables for balanced outs/ins.

I can get them at the local music store cheap (cheap quality). But I get them made up using better quality cheap cable :) Canare or Mogami..

Balanced cables with stereo plugs are *very* difficult to get here in Singapore. I'm going to have to get some made. Is this situation par for the course where you are as well?
 
I keep forgetting where everyone is! If Parts Express can't deliver internationally, I'm almost positive that Markertek can. You might have to browse their site to find the reasonably priced stuff, but it's there. http://www.markertek.com
