I don't think Reaverb does anything without an impulse file loaded into it.

It has a few things already in it. One called reverb generator, one called echo generator as well as a couple of other bits.

Yep. Just as though it was an impulse file. It won't do anything useful, but it'll be fun for a minute or two.
