Hey, I dig the tune. Good job. Only potentially negative thing I could say might be that the ending 'p' was just a tad plosive. OTOH, it kinda makes it sound more 'real', more intimate if you will. As far as the bass sound goes, not that there's anything wrong with it if that's what you were going for, but I would hardly call it 'punchy'. Then again, I'm listening on a computer with an OEM soundcard on tiny pc speakers with a sub. I hear a lot of deeper bass, but that's mostly all I'm getting on this track. Could definitely be the reason I'm not getting the punch, but then again, that means other people in the same situation might not get it either. I'd be interested to hear what everybody else says about the bass.

What was your setup for the electric rhythm (dammit, I never can spell that word!) part? I really like it.

All in all, a heckuva fine job.

Thanks! Rhythm guitar was a G&L S-500 into a TC Electronics M-One XL with a tremolo preset mixed at about 50%. I wanted an all-purpose hardware effects processor and after reviewing online decided on the M-One. It's been a bit disappointing, but I did like the tremolo preset you hear in this song.
