Is there a place that has been set up specifically for adoration of the C1 ?
Maybe just a simple Temple, with a few flowers and incense. Admirers could light a few candles, say a few quiet prayers, and just generally bask in the glow of its fullness and warmth.
...feel its "Phantom Power !"
Perhaps a gold-plated model would be most appropriate for placing at the center of the altar.

If you know of such a place, or have set one up in your home, I think there may be some people who would be interested in pilgrimmages.

Alan ?

(just kidding :)

No sarcasm intended.

It IS starting to look like there should be a C1 forum. alanhyatt could be the moderator and bask in the glory of his creation all at the same time. Nah, come to think of it, that'd be a conflict of interests.

(here's where the sarcasm starts) I think we should start up a C1 forum and make c7sus the moderator.

Well, it'd be interesting to watch anyway . . . .

PMFP and ROFLMGDAO at you two!!!!

Peace..............ChrisO

First I think Alan should get back to me on my inquiry when I asked him a month or two ago about designing a new logo for him! I'm not going to be a snot, so no cruelty is intended when I ask, who here thinks that the Studio Projects logo is dull, and, well... kinda ugly? I think that a high quality mic should be reflected by a high quality logo, don't you? I offered a while back, but alas, no response. I guess I should do my sales pitching off the board, though.

Fellow grasshoppers, the way of the C1 is truly inscrutable.

Prism, could it be that alan wants you to ponder the mystery of the
"perfect" logo?

Taxman, is alan the "yin" and c7sus the "yang"?

Axis, deep in the mountain forests of China, where is the Shaolin temple
that doubles as the factory?

Can the C1 record one hand clapping or the sound of the pebble snatched
from the master's hand? Truly we live in interesting times.

zin c1

When I first started recording a c1 was just a c1
When I began to learn about recording a c1 was no longer a c1
When I understood recording a c1 was just a c1...
Ah yes.

Ike,
The logo is pretty boring... I'm guessing Alan saved a few bucks on that front.

C1 temple.... hmmmm.....

Count me in / The Tao of C1

Always without desire we must be found recording,
If its deep mystery we would sound;
But if desire always within us be,
Its outer fringe is all that we shall see
And notice that the logo is a little boring

Just purchased a C1...thanks to everyone for the info...my limited experience review to follow......

The Axis,

Someone did start a C1 Chat room at:

http://pub43.bravenet.com/chat/show.php?usernum=3668187969&cpv=1

I will check it out as well.

The logo is what it is because I have not seen anything I like better yet, but it is not on the mic because the mic is deeply etched and to put it on would be costly and we would end up with more body rejections as a result of the log being on, so we just left it off.

If you have a good logo design, let me know :D

More questions guys...feed me!

You C1...

You've seen 'em all...

No, No ... I'm not picking up the gauntlet again... I just couldn't resist :)

Hey guys,

I am back...

Prism,

I thought I amswered your question some time back, but if I did not, well its only because I have been very busy and forget sometimes.

The answer is in the post below to Queue. The logo we have is too big to engrave and the mistakes would be hard to deal with, so we just left it off. While the logo may be boring, the mic is not. If you have a logo in mind, let me know. I look at all offers :D

Hey thanks... I might just try a few ideas and you can look 'em over. Either way, I intend to buy a C1 eventually down the road... :D
