buzzing sound

HI, I plugged my mic(dynamic) through a mixer and into my computer (line in) but there is a buzzing sound. If I plug into the mic input in the computer, the buzz seems smaller but when I record it is still pretty high, what seems to be the problem?

I should be more specific, from the mixer to the computer I have a 1/8 cable with a 1/4 adapter to plug in the mixer. I've tried a 1/4 cable with a 1/8 adapter to plug in the computer, but i don't get a signal. The buzzing sound occurs even if the mic is not plugged in. My mixer is a apex amm21 and mic is apex 381.

Soemthing within the cuitcuit may not be proberly grounded, including the cable.
