If you have 15" speakers and enough power you can run the bass easily. You would be pretty close with that setup but it depends on the size of the gig. Bass eats your power quickly so if you are running bass you might run out of juice for the vocals. It can also be hard to play without a monitor or amp close by.
If you are running the bass cable more than about 15ft to the board then you should use a direct box. You will probably be okay playing bass with that system but you'll just have to try it and see.
