I am trying to burn (using NERO) a mp3 from hard disk to cd.. The mp3 is an audio book and I estimate would need about 7 700MB cd's. How can I burn this audio book so it continues on from each cd. thanks in advance for any help

I would split the file into 7 pieces.

I would use a sound editor.

I use Sound Forge 6.0 http://www.sonicfoundry.com

There are others you could use.....

If you don't have the cash or credit to spare, you could use a freeware/shareware program. http://www.hitsquad.com/smm

I'm sure that our other members will give you more options. ;)

This one works pretty well:

It's shareware so I think it has a 30 day free trial period......thats plenty enough time to do what you wanna do...I used it to split some of the books of the bible on audio(that I found for free in mp3 format).....worked really well.

footnote: if you are burning this to a cd you want to play on any player.. then the files should be converted to wav format

actually with Nero you can burn them as mp3s and they'll play on a cd player...
