k, well i joined this board 30 min ago, as someone could not help me and they pointed me to this site..
im gonna try to explain this cause you cant be here but..the other day i bought a Line 6 Toneport UX2 as well as Studio Pro 3 speakers, a mic, a stand and all the various cables to connect them. ive managed to record my guitar as well as my voice, but for some reason i can only do this when the "audio from" is set to "Masters"..this results in everything i play over a 30 minute period to be squished together at random intervals, some parts erased, others replacing them. so my #1 problem is trying to find out how to make one thing its own track as opposed to the master track
also, i dont even know how to record a song. the lessons it has arent helpful, as those are all about utilizing the various drum beats and synth clips and I just want to straight record, me and a guitar. well im not very tech savvy with this so hopefully the terms i use make sense. if someone can help me i would be most grateful.
