Hello
I'm building a computer and I don't know much about the subject.
My goal is to record and mix music, mainly audio, the usual rock stuff.
This is my plan:
I'm going to buy a little mixer (Behringer Eurorack MX802A) because of the preamps, Johnnson J-Station for guitar and bass sounds and Tannoy Reveal Studio Monitors...I have few good mics and I also have free access to a moderate studio where I'm planing to record the drum tracks... The point is that I could move my project from my school studio to my PC.
Any comments about this?
This my plan for the cheap and reliable solution?
-Motherboard: Abit KT7
-Prosessor: AMD Duron 800Mhz
-RAM: 256 Mt, 133Mhz, SDRAM
-Soundcard: TerraTec EWX 24/96
-Harddrive: IBM Ultrastar, 36 LZX 80-pin (18.3 Gt) I know this is too little but Yes money is a object
-CD-RW
Comments? Please help me... What kind of software should I use...Cubase, Cakewalk or Logic?
Thanks
