can't get booked cause I don't have cd recording capability's I have a line input (1/8 I belive) in my computer and left/right rca rec out of my mixer, how do I connect the 2 and what type of program should I look at for basic recording, I need it simple, not too woried about quality since I'm recording from vinyl.

Just connect a audio cable from RCA mixer outs to 1/8 stereo line in of yoru computer. In your software select the recording source as "line in" and hit record. Thats the basic procedure.
