Very cool. B&K are the standard for lab mics. I've used them a lot. They used to make some studio equipment, too. You'll have to go over the manual. You won't be able to plug your normal condensor mic into this unit. I think their polarizing voltage is like 200V or something.

Good luck!

haha ofcourse...just my thing, purchasing something that can't handle standard stuff :D

So, what do I do to make things work?

You'll need to go through the manual and find out which of their mics it works with and try to find some.

yeah...but I'm sayin... isn't it possible AT ALL to use a normal condenser mic (like my SP B1) with this thing?

Probably not. I googled around looking for a manual, but didn't see anything. In picture number 2 the place where you plug in the mic is right below where it says "Condensor Microphone". That cable is a 7 conductor (the connector is anyway). To use this box, you'll need a microphone cartridge, a preamp, and a cable.

OK, after a little more digging, I found that DPA is B&K's spinoff. They make an adaptor HTP4000 for using their amplifier for regular mics. Maybe that can be adapted to your cool new box.

e-mailed both the company and the guy that's selling...let's wait and see :D
