broken j-station?!?!

Hello,
I had my friend visitin from u.s. pick up a j-station and bring it over here to australia.. i've used it less than 10 times, and as fate would have it, it dropped from about 1.5 feet to my carpeted floor and lo and behold it doesn't turn on any more... !!! the warranty does not cover is because it is outside of the u.s.... was wonderin if it could be a simple thing of opening it up and reconnecting something that got lodged out... or should i just find the nearest electronics repair store.... ?

If it is truly busted and you cant fix it - why not send it to your friend, have him get warranty service, and send it back..

the terms of the warranty require that the warranty is sent within i think 10 days of the purchase.. the purchase was made at least 30 days ago...

Factory warranty is one year from date of purchase with P.O.P.

Would you expect Chevrolet to replace your car if you leave the dealer lot and wrap it around the tree???

As they say in the retail world "If you break it, you buy it..."

But you might get a nice deal from Johnson if you'd contact them instead of messing with it yourself.
