hello all

i have a bad habit of practicing acoustic guitar in my bathroom and leaving the guitar in there sometimes. someone (probably me) has run a bath and the steam has caused the glue to melte thus causing the bridge to be slightly raised from one end. i need to get this repaired as im worried it might rip straight off at a gig or something. i know that i need resin glue, but how do i go about removing the bridge first to clear excess glue etc before re-glueing.

all help much appreciated :)

What guitar is it? I seriously doubt that steam has loosened the glue line. Steam does not weaken the glue joint, heat does.

You do not need resin glue whatever that is, you need to fully understand that a bridge repair or re-glue is a critical. Pictures would help us advise on what to do next.
