Brass or metal p.u. rings?

Looking to put some gold pickup rings on my guitar and was looking for opinions on brass vs. metal. Obviously the brass are more expensive. I was thinking go with the metal because when the gold wears off they would be cheap to replace. Any opinions on these?

My opinion is it doesn't matter to anyone but you. Brass is metal. Chrome is metal. Pick one and go with it, their pretty inexpensive. Some people are going to prefer one, and other people will prefer the other.
