I just scored 2 Shure 565 unisphere1 mics for $30...they actually had some sm57s for $80 and wouldnt budge on them...but they put these in an old box with some old mics that werent very good...but I think I did OK here...lol.

I've used those mics for years - they're not gold but they do the trick.

I'd take the 565s over the newer ics any day of the week. The older Shure mics were better for recording, IMHO.

On the Today Show they were doing a segment on Woodstock...everybody was using these there...they are the old ones...Id say mid 60s.

These are cool...I was able to get a thorough check through a Neve 1073

Good score. Too bad you had to be in Branson, MO to do it.

I love pawn shops :D

Most of the ones I have been in around here have no idea what gear is worth... I know where there is an RE 20 for $100 but I can't afford it right now :(

Its changing...I even saw a show with an Eagles tribute band...they need a Lynerd Skynrd one.

Who knows who used those mics...all sorts of celebs worked in that town in the 60s-70s.
