- Cool vocal effect but it seems buried under the music on the first few syllables. The intro seemed a bit flat on onw word - was that just me? The clearer vocal patch is very nice. They're both excellent, but so different...
Kudos to you on the production and to the band playing - always great stuff...

:D :) :D :)

The vocal melody is very early hard rock queenish - actually I think it might be The Prophet Song or something from NATOpera - so not quite so early or hard rockish as their 1st three albums but cool none the less.
I like the voacl effect but it could use a vol boost when with music. It probably should be boosted to the same level as the uneffected vocals actually.
More good work Lee - you're in a purple patch - ENJOY!!!

Cool  I agree that the vox effect is nice, but it doens't mend with the music as well as it could, sounds too far back. Instruments sound excellent to my ears, some good punch on my system and nice playing all around. Maybe a little fatter bass at times would sound cool. That bass rhythm in a few spots reminds me of Suck my kiss by the chilli peppers.
Good tune, enjoyed it ;)

very awesome on the listen guys...definitely in a purple patch indeed.

I actually took the ideas up another notch and tried a remix of the entire thing. This time I went for simplicity on the entire mix. I was trying to see if I could open up the mix even more to compensate for the compromised gear I've been using on this one.

Only EQ on everything, and compression/FX on vocals. The rest is just riding faders.

Hopefully I can push that improvement...

Ditto.....enjoyed the listen though!!!

This remix is much more straight ahead rnr & as a result much closer to the Queen song.
I REALLY like the original vox effect - just needed a boost.
Great tracking work.

On headphones for now. Sounds very cool! I'll have to listen later on monitors.
Mix comes off excellent on my 240df's though.

Some of teh words do get hidden by the music at times...I think you could drop the guitars a small amount in those spots. I like the vocal delivery. Also like the vibe and pace of this song. It's just different enough....pretty cool. Only thing I can really pick out that could use some attention is the spots where the vocal is a bit hidden. Other than that, cool song man.

definitely some great feedback here...

I will be throwing up some new mixes in the near future and of course with the feedback, I always look to work on improving before the final mixes.

thanks again guys.

Cool stuff! got a chance to listen on the monitors.

Vocal effects are cool (what is the on the whe chorus?)

Have to agree the vocals are getting run over buy the guitars pretty bad in the verses there the over lap is. A little give & take there should take care of things.

The vocals in the chorus could use to come op in the mix some, You could leave the "why why why" alone if you wanted. I personnaly would as long as you can bring the other chorus lyrics up with out making it sound like the level really drops going into the "why why". Course a fade might cover that pretty well.

Sounding good. Really would like to know what you have on the vox.

Oh ya, what's purple? Purple manurple? :D

I like the production

I like the production on this. Nice job keeping things interesting and building excitement.

Nice use of dropping and adding subtle and sometimes not so subtle parts to change the feel and dynamics.

This has stimulated some production ideas for a tune I'm working on right now.

Good work.
