Please help - trying to import single track files from my XP windows computer to the 864 and keep getting 'Error - Card full' messages. This is despite the remaining time reading well in excess of the track that I am trying to import. I am simply trying to import back single tracks that I have exported, so if they fit prior to export, why won't they fit back on the import?

What am I doing wrong? Any ideas appreciated?

I found the manual to be straight forward for the exporting of tracks using win 2000. Exactly what is the problem? You hook up the usb cable, hit the USB back up button and a new drive is created in my computer in windows.

Then drag and drop the directory into where you want to save it.

Now the rhythm system is a different ball game all together. I've spent days learning how to use it and still find it far too much of a challenge to use it seriously. It's not intuitve at all and difficult to back out if you make a mistake in many instances. Had I known about this I would not have bought it.

Another thing I find disappointing is I can export a track to my PC but not an entire song !! So the 'create mp3' statement that Roland state is actually incorrect unless someone can advise me otherwise.

Martin,

You mix your song down to two tracks, then export those two tracks to your PC.
