Br-1600 and Importing Tracks

I was searching my friend's owner's manual for the Br-1600 and can't find anywhere how you import tracks from one song (on the machine) to another (that is also on the machine). Is that even possible? We have one song that is all music, and the other song is the drums that goes with the music. We need to import the drums into the song.

I did this one time on my BR-1600 and the only way I could get it done was to burn one track on to a CD/RW, then go back to the other track I wanted to add to, and upload from the CD drive.

Yeah...burn the drum tracks to a CD than import them into the other song. Could probably do it by USB too.

thanks. we're going to burn it back on to cd track by track with a rewriteable. i just was hoping we could bypass that. (a plus for the vs-1824)
