Boutique Preamp into USB interface?

Hey guys --

I am currently using an M-Audio MobilPre USB interface and consider getting a UA Solo/610 pre since the built-in pres of the MobilePre are a bit noisy.

Would such a setup (Rode NT2-A > UA Solo/610 > M-Audio MobilePre > Logic) make sense or is it not worth having a "boutique preamp" going into an USB interface?

Does the MobilePre have a line in that bypasses the built-in pres? If so, I'd say the MobilePre is not so bad as to negate, or even significantly diminish, the jump in quality you would get going to an upscale pre. If not, get an interface that has line ins that don't put the signal through a crappy pre.

Yes, the MobilePre has 2 Line ins which mypass the pres.
