Hey guys, I have the VF-16 and I use it to record with my four piece band. Nothing professional, just kind of a hobby I enjoy. I was wondering, is there any way to bounce down tracks with the VF-16?? Like if I record a couple guitar tracks for more depth, but then i want to bounce them to one track to free up some other tracks... I've read the manual, but I couldn't find what I was looking for in there... I'd appreciate any help you guys could give me...

What you're talking about is BUSS recording. Select the tracks you wish to combine as "source"....press the "source" button and select the tracks.

Next, press "buss record" selecting the track (or tracks if you are mixing down to 2 stereo tracks) that you wish to bounce all the other tracks to.

Hit record + play, and you should be good to go. There are a few more details involved if you want to get critical, but that should get you started.

Remember, raising or lowering the faders of the original tracks raises or lowers how loud they record (or bounce) to the new track(s).

Not hard, just play around a bit...and remember you have that undo button!

So the source tracks I select to bounce are already recorded right??? I think i'm getting this, I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help
