Thanks to Alan for the CD comparing the C1, C3 and T3. Unfortunately, the T3 sounded so good, that I knew I could't buy the C1 without knowing I got less than I wanted (either the T3 or the TLM103).
Since I was sacrificing based on cost, I went with the v67. IMHO, not much of a sacrifice in quality when compared to the C1, but a big cost savings.
Picked it up at Mars on sale. Funny thing is that they have all the mics set up so you can "audition" them using headphones. One problem is that the volume isn't consistent which creates a bias toward the louder mics. Other interfering factors includ resonance in your head, other external noises, and the lack of ability to hear the mic in a mix.
Got the v67 anyways. Rah!
