I think this is quite good! A couple of things I think:

The vocal sounds a bit thin, I think either a really tight double track or a tight delay might help?
Drums are too loud, they dominate the space of the entire song. They sound pretty good though.
Probably due to the loud drums, the guitars are lost. Boston was awesome because of those guitars! I think you did a great job on the tones.
I appreciate you trying to sing those ridiculously high notes, and you do a solid job. You can tell that they run out of steam though. I think it might sound cool if you supplement them with the same guitar note to keep the power there. Not sure if it will work, but could be cool!

The intro sounded wrong & disjointed to me.
Good effort though.

I like the suggestion regarding the double track, it was really thin actually, and I could add some guitars when I sing the high notes, that could work!!

Being a guitarist myself, I've never understood why my mixes have a loud drums always, I like the beat I guess lol.

When BOSTON recorded this track it was to create "the perfect track"....which they did...

BOSTONS "More than a feeling" has the ultimate acoustic guitar track....Lead Guitar licks & harmonies which had never been heard before & the vocalist gives the performance of a lifetime...

Oh & it is a great song with a terrific arrangement, with power oozing throughout the tune...

You got guts, I'll give you that....

Wow very ambitious undertaking. You've actually done a pretty good job. It's good that you've gone for hitting the high notes in the vocal rather than just trying to scream through them. They do get a bit thin up there though, a double track would help. You can also ride the vocal faders to boost the volume where it drops away and try compression on them as well. The drums are OK, they're quite accurate just a bit plastic sounding. The rhythm guitars need work though, they're not punching through at all.

Leaving aside the "WHY????" question for a minute... vocals are thin, especially up high and the rhythm guitars sound like they're a poorly utilised amp sim... very flat... to my ears. Pretty much what Bulls Hit up there said...

I'd hoped never to hear this song again. My life is ruined.... :D
