Here's a new guitar instrumental, any opinions on music or mix appreciated!

:D

Nice job on this!!.....only problem I thought was some of your phrases end abruptly....I think it would have helped the feel if the note at the end of some of your phrases were allowed to hang and fade...but that would mean you'd have to record each phrase seperately ;) ....a LOT more work  ...other than that the mix was excellent and I liked the tune!!....you certainly know your way around the fretboard too!..cool!

After you listen 20 or 30 times it should all sound right... :D

Thanks for the comments, glad you liked it!

Well, I guess no news is good news... I'll leave the mix as is!

I got nothing for you on the mix man. I think it sounds pretty good. Question though....How did you record it. SM57??? through what if any thing. Keep going man..sound good

Well, the lead guitar was recorded straight into my mixer, then into an Echo Mia soundcard, and into Cubase SX. The amp sound is a plugin called Amplitube..

All the synths are virtual too.. and drums (played from a keyboard, not loops) But the bass is real!

Cool song man! It makes me want to go play my guitar right now. What kind of reverb did you use? I like everything about it.

There's some reverb and a little stereo delay, both built into Amplitube.

Thanks for the comments! :D
