Cool! I just bought the art of mixing (which is very good I think) and that will be the next on my list.

IM still waitng for mine. Ive been watching this book evolve over the last year or so. Its amazing to watch Bob and people like Glenn Meadows, Bob Olhsson and Lynn Fuston to mention a few discuss technical data and the interpretations. Last week another ME came into Glenn's site and started offering corrections based on his experiences. So Bruce, have you listened to any of the Honor roll CD's?

I was just looking over the list this morning --- Pink Floyd's DSOTM is on there.... as is Fagen's "The Nightfly" -- so I have heard some of them....

But many of them I have not heard of, but will very likely pick up!

But from that pdf, you already see that Bob Katz can write books!

Think I'm gonna buy it, even if I do not intend to do more than my average home mastering stuff :D

Not only does it discuss mastering - it goes into some detailed theory on sound and acoustic principles!

If Boray read it, he'd never show his face here again out of embarrassment...! :p

Wrong, Bruce - first, you have to be cognizant enough to realize you SHOULD be embarrassed...

BTW, gonna get Bob's new book this week, been following his site off and on for about a year - and thanks for the mention earlier of the "bible" of Digital audio - bought it a couple weeks ago, and so far I like it better than Pohlmann's book, although I've yet to finish either.

Gotta go, haven't finished counting all the bees in the hive yet... Steve

Just don't go readin it and think you can master your own stuff Blue Bear :)

Wonder if I can get it in here in Germany... Hopefully...
