BlueTube question

Hello Everyone,

I got a simple question (I hope). I have a Presonas Blue Tupe mic-pre. It has inputs for both XLR and TRS inputs. It is also a two channel pre.

Now I looked thru the search engine stuff and didn't find this exact issue being delt with on the Blue Tube so here goes:

There is a phantom power button that controls both channels at once. What happens if I need to put a mic in one side that requires phantom power and the other side I have a dynamic mic or something like that. Is it going to mess up the other device that doesn't need phantom power??

Any suggestions would be helpful..Thanks

Phantom power won't hurt a dynamic mic. It will however kill a ribbon mic.
