Blues Jam with my Son and Friends

Hi every one my Name is Tom, and form Sweden, but live in Thailand for 8 years now and my friend is from the Big Apple :-)
I want to show little bit what we can do over the boarder ;-)

This is a Jam Me and my son make 25 years ago on a MD-recorder, I blow the dust of it, and let my friends
James and Graham have som fun with it.
Big Jim singing and do the guitar solo and Bas, and Graham play the drum

It does sound like they were recorded in different rooms.
Some good ideas - you should probably redo the whole thing.
 
Well give me one good reasun why I would do that? This is a Jam round the world in 25 year, on different recording place and gear, That's the thing man!
have fun work together.
I dont want a grammy for this one, it a Jam! I make with my son 25 years ago, now I live in Thailand and my son in Sweden so how in he... could we redo it?
Just take it as it is :-) You like it... Nice if not ......!

You put it up in the MIXING clinic.
You get comments on the MIX here.
You can redo it - I do collaborations across continents, oceans and decades with the INTERNET of all things.
I try to make them sound as if the tracks belong together - I'm rarely successful.
I was suggesting you'd get a better result by re recording it.
Of course you could also get a better result from the tracks you have by employing good production and mixing skills.
The fact that you didn't get a good mix - that is one that didn't sound like it was recorded in different places and times with different mind sets and people and different ideas about the end result and what it was to be - suggested you needed to do more than you have done.
Now, if you'd posted this somewhere else and said what do I think of this pan temporal/gegraphic jam with extras you'd have had a different response.
 
Haha I think every body misunderstand me I DON'T Want to change any thing on this song it's a JAM I can't do it again, I had a motorbike accident tree years ago and Can't play guitar any more!
This Jam as it is, is a memory from the past! I don't mess it up more than I did this time. I have mowed on' this is the past, and I keep it as it is :-)

This is what you get when you send the track round the world to do this an add that, It's a JAM not a Studio record, If I have known this I should keep it as it was,
But we have fun like heck, so who cares how it sounds, it's a JAM! You like it... you like it, or .......!

Tom, that was the point, you have it where people post to improve mixes. So, when something is posted in this section, it is by default reviewed for mixing critique.

Just so you know for future reference.

OK I put up something I mix instead, do you like Classic music... with vocal...?

Tom, "Mixing Clinic" is to help home recorders to improve their mixing skills. "Mix This" is to get others to mix your tracks.

Hope this helps you understand the different threads.
 
Oups I think so Now :-( ok not easy to make a old dog to sit so I'm in wrong place then.lol
OK to late for my last upload I did it again befor you have a change to tell me I hope you like Classic :-)

Now I'm confuse haha if I want you to tell how this sound, Is I on the right place then? or ..do I make fool of my self again?

wow big jim sounds like quite a character. that was quality. wish i could sing that way instead of like a little girl.
 
Haha I use Pitchwhee,l to make a whit man sound as a Black man, to fit the right mood in the blues :-)
