Blue Bluebird

What's the concensus on these? I never really paid much attention, but I could get a new one for $300, which is about $200 off of retail, so I thought I'd look 'em up. I don't really have a use for one right now (that I know of) so I'm not inclined to get one, unless someone convinces me otherwise.

i had one briefly. i only sold it to upgrade to a blueberry, but i thought the bluebird was a good, multipurpose condenser-- probably more versatile than the blueberry.

I like the bluebird better than the baby bottle, it's good for a three hundred dollar mic.

Probably not a bad deal for $300.
Do a search in the forum on the bluebird, though.
There are a lot of different opinions out there on this specific mic.

have used, i think that an at4033 is a much more solid mic.
like, way more all around.
