Hey, I know it's probably not the most appealing title and they're no lyrics but I think this is one of those songs that the mood and feeling tell the story. Please give this one a listen....(seems I'm always asking) but your oppinions are invalueable to me as an artist and I love to share the music.
This song is a tribute to the late guitarist, Eddie Hazel. If you know anything about "P-Funk" and the exploits of it's founding father, George Clinton, then you are familiar with Eddie "Magott Brain" Hazel. He was the sound of Funkadelic and that whole P-Funk movement. He was one of rocks most underated guitarist too IMHO. His talents and creativity were on par with Hendrix without a doubt. (A whole lot of comparisons-do a google search on "Eddie Hazel") ......I'm ranting. Let me stop. : )
Give me a listen and tell me what you think. I'm using a borrowed Marshall AVT on this track 'cuz I wanted to see what was all the fuss was about in regard to Marshall Amps (I am just not a Marshall fan -never have been) I'm also using a Digitech GNX 1 for the first time. Just trying out some gear on loan. Here's the link:
