Very nice tones. Good clean mix.

I'd say, good tune.

Thanks alot Dogman, nice to get some positive feedback.
Just finished producing Serotones debut album, although i loved producing it im glad its finished with!

Very clean indeed! Great guitar tones in the intro...

I think maybe I would have given the competing vocals a little more separation in the mix, but that's just me.

Very nice song, great mix, even though it was short... (I would like to hear the whole song)...

Bass guitar couldve been a bit more defined.

I know i felt it, but the definition was lacking.

The intro vocals were a tad on the beefy/muddy side too IMO.

But really... in the scheme of your recordings ive heard to date?.....

NIce job man!

Cheers for the good words. xfinsterx Yeah i found it really hard to get a decent bass tone. I used a crapy Peavey bass amp with a D112 and a DI. The D112 gave better tone but was a bit wild in the dynamics at times which was really hard to control even with heafty compression.
I know what you are saying about the vocals at the start, but i like that sound, reminds me of A perfect circle vocal recordings. The thing is i didnt automate the EQ for the vocals atall! They sound well different when the song kicks in.

Rokket, im thinking about putting the whole song up for streaming, but not sure as whether i should or not. Might put it up for a limited time only.

Hi

Good song and good recording. I would put a litte bit more reverb on the vocals specially for the high notes.

Regards,

Jack Real.

Thanks Jack, Serotone arent too keen on alot of reverb on the vox so for that reason i tried to keep it to a minimum. I usually go over the top on vox reverb.

Hey Rokket i posted the full song for you to listen to. : BLINDED FULL

(PS. The link on my signature is the same as the link at the top of the thread.)
