Black Crowes show

Saw Galactic and Black Crowes Friday night. Fantastic show. Galactic, awesome as usual, Crowes were tight and appeared fairly sober (in contrast to the last 4 times I had seen them, once as a tech and others audience). Guitar tones were sweet, sound was good, only heard a little clipping once. Loud but not too loud. Wish you all could have come. Thurgood.

Man, when I saw the Crows in Cincinnati last summer, it was the most awful sound I had ever heard there. I really hope the sound guy was more enebriated that I, cause it was rough. But I would have loved to have seen them when I could have been able to tell what was going on.

As I stated in my first post, my experiences have been a bit spotty to say the least. Nonetheless, the show Friday was first rate.

They were here a couple years ago for a four-day Indie fest. Total diappointment. They were simply a bad, bad act....No front work whatsoever--Hello, goodbye, kissmyass, nothing. Got onstage, played like shit, walked off...

And yeah, their FOH guy was the worst...
