I like it dude! :) Wish I could make stuff half this good lol.

thanks G...I wish I could make something twice as good

Every now & then the kit sounds like someone playing along rather than being integrated. generally it seems a part of the whole.
It'd be worth finishing - maybe some doometal vox with a barbi girl style M8.
You've become quite adept at making the music mate.
You should be off down the frog n toad with the cheese for a glass of cheer with your chinas.

yeah I get it...if I drop the drums to ow they disappear, if i have them in the mix there almost too high...I layered the kick but nothing else...but the snare and kit have three layers of compression on them and they still dont sit

thanks ofr listening Ray and the comments :)

That opening drum pattern sounds like that Breeders "Cannonball" song.

The drums don't sound "stadium" to me. They're too isolated. The individual drum panning is too wide and clean. Snare needs to be fatter/deeper sounding. I like the overall jist though. The drums sound cool with the backjing trippiness going on. This reminds me of the old 80's/90's industrial music back when they still used real instruments. I think this is cool. I think some big open distorted guitar chords ringing out into feedback would go with the more rock and roll feel of the song.

you do realise when I say stadium drums I have very little idea what the fuck Im talking about? :D

the snare sounds like the tops being "bonked" doesnt it? I can control the bottom mic in the software but it doesnt route out like other software...but I think you may have got it....some guitar and maybe rock vocals would work

Ill see if theres any takers as Im not going to do anything with it other than strip out some of it to make room for guitars...mmmm, or maybe i will do it??... cheers blood ;)

Yeah I know you don't know shit. :D

This really did give me like a quick flashback to a 1990 Ministry concert I went to. Stigmata........I need to dig those albums out. "The Land of Rape and Honey" and "The Mind is aTerrible Thing to Taste" are fantastic albums.

lol...fuck you :D

yeah good band Greg...totly off topic but I dug out my old flux of pink indians "strive to survive"...dunno if you liked them, bit too politico post punk...but man Im digging it at the gym lol

I've heard of them, but never really listened to them. That clip aint too bad, but it's pretty generic brit-punk. I can't relate to angry leftist limeys. :laughings:

Drums sound cool. Not crazy about the synths in 1:15 - 1:20 they seem to overwhelm it - I like the fat bass synths around 1:35

the swirling ones seem to take over too much, maybe they are just too loud

I like the soundscape stuff you got going on around 2:40 - that lonely piano is cool

I think it maybe could use a subtle soft chord melody running through the whole thing -

but ya know what opinions are like :)

seems less cohesive than your usual stuff but it has some great sounds in it

Hey I thought I posted last night. Oh well. I like the tune KC I like the drum sounds, guess I need to look into that software. Looks like your done with it for a while, so I hope I get to catch the remix of it. Sounds like some good suggestions in this thread about distorted guitars and vox.

I'm ready for the next tune. :D

i wouldnt be too ready...im listening to my vocals now and they are out of this world...like mars or something lol :D

This has got some interesting elements to it kc. Not sure how much I thought the stadium drums worked against the rest of the track, but lots of other nice stuff with the sampled Prodigy style 'heys' and the haunted house synthy thing at the breakdown. The second half is vay cool.

Tune is another masterpiece KC. Always enjoy your creativity and performance. I agree the drums are too loud in the first third - I think it`s because it doesn`t have either as much going on or the instruments are too low. They poke out there. I have never automated drums so I`m not sure if that`s even possible or plausible. In any case this is a good tune and I think the drums warrant more use in future tunes...
