Hey everyone...

Does anyone know exactly what the difference is between the Beyerdynamic m201 and the Revox M3500? Is the Revox just an older version? Which one has a better sound?

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

The Revox M3500 was made by Beyer.

It is similar to the M201, except it has 600 Ohms impedance as opposed to 200 Ohms, it doesn't have the hum-buck coil, and it also omits an LCR filter which is present in the M201 which tames the response at ~ 4KHz.
