Well i've rang and e mailed every company in the uk to try and get hold of an AKG 451b but to no avail, AKG themselves don't reply to my mails (i've been told by several companies there is a problem with the latest production of the 451 and they've been pulled out of the shops for an undisclosed time). So i've been having a think, the mxl 603 doesn't seem to be available uk side and the Octava 012 is around 300 dollars each here. So a bit of a dilemma, how do the Beyers work out?

The above one doesn't look too bad although more expensive any one used these or any of their stable mates?
