Better or worse?

Then added vocals and some compression on the bass. Attempted to notch out to get them to sit well, but I'm still learning!

Edit: Also note that the vocals laid down are just scratch track performances. I wanted to primarily see where my voice lies in the EQ spectrum.

The bass sounds more focused in the second mix, so that's better. The vocals are too soft for the mix. They need to come up. They're buried too much and are hard to understand. Bring those up and it should be fine.
