Hello everyone this is my first post here. I have a beta 57A microphone. I am a solo artist that doesn't play any big shows or anything. I am looking for an amp to compliment my beta 57A so that my vocals aren't overpowered by my guitar. I have heard that keyboard amps are my best bet. I am looking for something under 300 dollars. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks,

Matthew

A fender Champion 110 amp. The guitar sounds good on that. The mic sounds horrible though, you turn it up to max and still can only barely hear it. I figure the amp and mic just aren't very compatible

It probably just needs a little EQ on the mic. A keyboard amp would be okay, you wouldn't get a great mixed sound probably, but it's worth a shot. If you do buy a keyboard amp, make sure it has an EQ section on the fromnt so you can tweak your sound.
If you want to save about 350, get a Behringer PMX1000, beautiful little mixer w/ 600 watts, 12 channels, effects, EQ. I bought one last month for my acoustic gigs and it's the best thing i've bought in a while.
