I like the Timeworks as well.(I like all there stuff) Low Cpu over heard...

Which Timeworks reverb are you using? I know they have more than one. I've only used the ReverbX and it can be a real CPU hog.

I use the old 4080L....The new one perhaps has more features or processing depth. I like the simplicity, sound and low overhead of the 4080L. New is not always better. There has to be a new and "improved" otherwise we won't feel we are missing something ;)

if i have ir-1 for pc, and i downloaded some of those impulses from noisevault, how do i get em on to the plugin,? they seem to be wierd .rar files

Altiverb.

For many years, it was only available on Mac. It's now available for PC.

IMO TCMegaverb.

Yes, that and the TC ClassicVerb. You need the TC Powercore card to run them, but having all those MIPS allows the coders to write big fat algorthms without worrying about bogging down the host processor. These verbs are essentially putting high end hardware verbs inside your computer.

I know this is a ressurected thread, but I've got to say that I'm very happy with my UAD-1's Plate 140.
