Best synth/workstation for creating electro??

I have a Micro Korg and an MS-2000, but I feel very "limited" with what I have in creating an 80's, electro pop sound. I was wanting to get some opinions of some great work stations/synth keyboards/whatever else there may be in doing just so. Also, is there ANYTHING out on the market at a reasonable price to do so??

Just my opinion but if your wanting a workstation to do 80's electro stuff I would recomend a used korg m1. They're about 350-450 used, and I can give you 9100 patches for it!

If you cant make electro with 9100 patches to choose from, there is something wrong
