Best Places to buy Equipment?

In the internet age you can get the same product from 100 different places. I was just wondering if anyone has experience a place to buy equipment that was better/cheaper/ than the rest.

I have been looking on Ebay, Musiciansfriend... ect.

Anyone got any other tips?

Yo Cumberledge! Over several years, I've had very good luck with 8th street in Philly. They have a huge inventory, among the lowest prices,they answer their phones, and they don't screw up orders. Occasionally I will buy a more expensive item from Musician's Friend, just because they give me 5% off for being an ASCAP member. For certain specialty or high-end items, I like The Sound Room, and Mercenary Audio. Sweetwater provides great service and customer support, but you pay for it in pricing. 90% of the time, I end up at 8th street.-Richie
