Best PC Speakers

I would very much like to get some proper studio monitors, but my budget won't stretch to it just now. So I am going to have to make do with PC speakers/subwoofer. Are there any upmarket PC speaker/subwoofer combinations out there that approach the quality of hi fi speakers?

Yes. VideoLogic have some. But they cost nearly as much as a decent monitor system. Their "pro" model costs MORE than a good monitor system, and is still not as good as one.

You get what you pay for - you buy PC speakers, you get PC speakers. And no PC speakers that I know of would approach the sonic qualities of a proper nearfield monitor system.
