I respect Harvey's opinion and would like to hear what he thinks about Alan's comments... Hey Harvey, are Alan's comments both valid and uninflammatory? What's the facts?

Thanks for all the info and i just discovered i had some PM's thanks for them. Just having a good search around in the uk and found these, look interesting there's even an audio demo.

I also just remembered that the SE guys told me that they would loan any of their mics to you for a 10 or 12 day (forgot which) trial period so you can check them out before you buy. This is in the UK and the US. I didn't ask about the warranty.Flatpicker said:

Those T Bones are mics look like they are from Feilo. I am pretty sure about that, but there are several other assembly houses building all kinds of mics there. Feilo is the same factory we have the Joemeek mics made... Have a look at this mic... JM47 Very similar, except ours has the pad and filter for £99.00
Now we did some slight modifications to JM47 in the capsule, but that is about all as the electronics are good, and most of these kinds of mics sound pretty similar. This includes the lower cost ADK's, SE's, Marshalls, T Bones, and the Joemeek JM47.
You know about our service, as far as the others, I can not comment...

Just noticed on the Thomann audio sales site looks like some of the T Bone range is made by SE.
Did have a ring around yesterday and no one seemed to have any c4's in the uk.

Posted on the ADK forum and one guy said the small diameter adk's had quite a high noise floor, could be o.k for aggresive strumming but not for fingerpicking.

Yo Phoenecians, last I checked E.A.R. sells the SP line. Thats where I bought my C1. Great prices. A tad snobby though. They werent too happy I was buying a $200.00 mic over the AGK solidtube. I compared the 2 and it was a joke, the C1 sounded that much better.
