I think these would give my mixes that something extra!!? Note these are 1000 watts speakers so they should be able to handle any mix, especially the bass. What a deal for .01 !!!!

Adam A7s are "within reason price-wise." But, they are a step UP.

I got mine a few months ago; I'm set for monitors for a long time. When I opened the box and looked at them, I thought the woofers were too small to do much good. WRONG! Fabulous and I haven't touched a dial on the front of the monitors since I plugged them in. They work fine; why bother with the dials, at least for now.
