Best mic pre for $37.50?

Take the $37.50 and purchase a stocking mask. Now pull it over your head and hold up a liquor store. Now take these procedes and get a Avalon 737.
 
Buy a tight pair of pants with the $37.50, hang around Times Square and practice saying "Wanna date"? You'll probably get the money sooner than holding up a liquor store, and do less time. Just make sure your health insurance is paid up.-Richie
 
you can get an Audio Buddy for aboot that much PER CHANNEL......

I got 6 of them in an $80 Behringer mixer I can rip out for ya. I know you have a hankering for a Behringer, but just can't bring yourself to admit it! Course, maybe you'd rather work Times Square...Richie
 
$3750 Hell you could get a racked 1076 neve for that. Ive been hoping to see one at the swap meet next to a toaster for only $37.50:cool:
 
a friend of mine opened one of those apex pres up...and found the same IC as a tube screamer inside....talk about your high-fidelity
