Best mic for acoustic blues & vocals

I need to purchase one good all around microphone to record acoustic blues and vocals. I am considering the Audio-Technica 3528 and the AKG C1000S. I would appreciate any comments regarding this equipent. I will use an ART PAC preamp/compressor with these mics.

I use the C1000S on acoustic quite a bit with good results. Never tried the Audio Technica however. In that price range I cant think of much else, many people mention the Rode NT-1 as being a great condensor, but I imagine it's at lease twice as expensive.

Just shell out the bucks for a AT 4033 and call it good. You will not find a better mic for under $500, period! Good luck.
