if you are talking about vocal mics which i assume you are then a blue yetti would be a decent option. i think there is an mxl 990 that comes as a usb but it might be 100$. if you dont absolutely need a usb mic and can work with a mic with an mxl jack then i would recommend a shure sm58. a shure sm58 is 100$ but i think there is a rebate worth 10$ if you buy it so it would equal 90$ anyways.
